Florida Fungi Farm Chronicles: Vol 3

Florida Fungi Farm Chronicles: Vol 3

Ivan Herenchak-Jones

Like a kid on Christmas Eve, we got into bed early on Saturday night filled with excitement with what the next day would bring. It was the culmination of a year of planning, learning, adjusting, and re-planning; we pulled it off! We took our first crop of freshly harvested oyster varieties and lion’s mane to the market and sold most of what we brought. We gained so much satisfaction from talking with people interested in our mushrooms and insight into what varieties market-goers want. We hear you and we will definitely be putting focus on growing more fresh lion’s mane!

We’re gonna keep this one short and get back to work! Thank you all so much!
